A Pep Talk for Entrepreneurs
Today’s episode of The Merriweather Council podcast is a plain and simple pep talk. Because we could all use one from time to time.
No matter how many successes you’ve had in your business, you’re going to feel like a sad sack of potatoes some days. It’s inevitable. It sucks, but at least it’s normal. I’m hoping that on those days you can pull this episode up, have another listen and feel a little bit better.
On the first listen though, you might find some tips for staying ahead of the curve on feeling down about yourself to begin with. I shared a strategy for giving yourself a “happiness cushion” to land on when things feel low. I also spoke about perfectionism and the more realistic things you might want to pursue.
As self employed people especially, it can be hard to find validation and encouragement day to day, without a boss or coworkers to give you a pat on the back or get you back on track when something goes wrong. Hopefully this episode can patch a small part of that big hole. I hope you’ll commit to positive self talk or at least set some positive mindset systems and safety checks for yourself.
Enjoy and be sure to share with a friend!

Typo: I meant “hurt”. The former applies as well, I guess. LOL.
