How much do we cumulatively despise taxes?
Paying them, sorting out how much we owe, attempting to maximize our write-offs, etc. so many things here to dislike.

As a society, we despise taxes very much. As a community, creative people especially hate them.

Taxes would be so much simpler, every single year, if proper money management took place every single month. I know *groan* but it’s true.

It doesn’t have to be hard or awful. It can be empowering and straightforward.

Once upon a time, I did the best thing I ever could’ve done for myself and my business and got an accountant. This was quite literally life-changing. You might need this too, more than you realize.

Finally understanding how money comes in and goes out made me feel more secure in my business. Bonus: this little confidence boost happens every month.

If you can, I highly recommend you hire an accountant and or a bookkeeper. (This could be the same person as it was in my case.)

If that is not possible, the next best thing is here.

My accountant, the person who has been responsible for delivering that confidence boost monthly for the past several years, has developed a course specifically for creative people (the community that probably hates tax prep and math-y stuff the most) called Be Your Own CFO.

If you yearn to understand your monthly numbers better, feel more confident in spending or investing, or simply want to struggle less at tax time, I encourage you to check this out.

Amy’s insights have been indispensable to me over the past few years, and I appreciate her willingness and patience to work through these things with me!

Creating a sustainable system to handle your finances as a business owner will bring you so much more peace and power. I know how frustrating it is to feel so disconnected from your finances and feel super overwhelmed by all the things you don’t know. Even worse, all the things you don’t know you don’t know. You know?

You can change this! You CAN learn, and you can create meaningful results from your currently scattered numbers. With Amy’s help you can become your own Chief Financial Officer.

Amy’s course will guide you step by step to logical, meaningful money understanding and provide you with community support. This is truly one of the best things you can do.

Establishing a money money management system is one of the most essential and best things you can do for your business – at any stage. Not only will it make your life easier at tax time, but it will also inform you about your business in ways you probably hadn’t considered or noticed yet. Also, understanding tax deductions…. priceless. Seriously, this is one of the best investments you can make this year.
