My very first ever official collection is coming along and I am so excited to give you the first small peek at some of the fabrics I am using to give you a sense of the look/ feel!
I am going to take february to really get things together and bring this collection to you in March. Did I mention is was so excited?! I am. Really. I honestly have had moments in the past nine months where I thought my creativity was all dried up and my golden days of having ideas were well behind me. I never fully believed that, but I thought it.
PRIM is a bit more sophisticated than my usual style you are all used to seeing. There are lots of mainstays, of course. Hoops, threads, fabrics and hand drawn text are all present in the collection but there are additions including imagery, drawings, more vintage pieces, more one of a kind pieces and most notably: the addition of black.
People who know me know: black is my most favorite color (shade, whatever) and I almost exclusively wear black. Pretty much, in general, I look like I am always on my way to an extremely casual funeral. (Side note though, one of my new year resolutions is to be a little more adventurous in my wardrobing.)
I associate black with a bit more grown up, classic and proper look. That’s what PRIM is: a mix of versatile classics, a bit playful but more grown up.
