Beautiful Product Photos with a Plain Ole Point and Shoot Camera

Creative Entrepreneurship

You don’t need a fancy DSLR camera to take alluring photos of your work. It’s true!

Don’t believe me?

Meet Liz aka Made In Lowell who takes her photos with a plain old point and shoot digital camera.

Still don’t believe me?

Here she is… with her camera….

It’s a Kodak EasyShare, approximately 5 years old.
I am actually amazed by this… Liz’s photos are soo pretty! You probably already know this, but, no, her photos don’t come directly out of the camera looking like that, there is an editing process. But even people with fancy cameras do editing, did you know that?
Liz shares some of her photo editing process on her blog, super useful and informative. I love posts like that because even if you don’t get all of it, there is always something to take away, whether it’s a color enhancing trick or a layering technique or some other one-click-changes-everything tip. Super!
Thanks, Liz for showing us that you don’t need fancy equipment to have beautiful photos! Just a little time, patience and know-how!
Isn’t this so reassuring? What kind of camera do you use?
