From Mock Up to Actual Reality

You know when you have really good intentions to do something but it requires a lot more time than you actually have? And you need to learn a ton of new stuff before starting? And so you kinda push it off until forever?

Well, that’s kinda what happened with me and WordPress.

I wanted to do it myself, and I did try… but then I realized, I would need to learn a TON in order to get what I really wanted and it would take a lot longer to make it happen then I wanted.

So, friends, this is when I outsourced.

I hired Zoe of A Quick Study to deal with this junk for me, because she is an expert and I am not.

I contacted Zoe about doing this WordPress design for me and sent her this mock up:

And now look at my blog… looks pretty darn exact does it not?! It’s amazing. Zoe is amazing! So thank you Zoe! For making my mock up actual reality!

I could get super used to this outsourcing stuff… which reminds me, I need to go gather the golden eggs from the backyard…

This is a for profit blog and includes a few affiliate links. This means that if you purchase something through one of these links, I may receive a small commission. I only bother suggesting products or services that I have used and loved because if you buy something on my suggestion and hate it that would suck. So I only suggest things i’m 99% sure you’ll love as much as I do.

  1. Yay! I’m so glad it turned out well :) Such a great layout idea – it was fun to puzzle out a non-traditional layout. And, anybody I can help away from Bl****r is a win!
