The New Empowered Crafting

edit: Check this series here!

A few days ago, I was meditating over a venti iced coffee with extra soy milk and a pump of cinnamon dolce syrup. Whilst doing so, I felt a great urge to revisit and revitalize a series I did a long long time ago on this blog called “empower yourself and your craftings”.

The New Empowered Crafting Series | The Merriweather Council Blog

Some of you might know that craftings is not actually a word – and you might also know that I am all about making up my own words, so that is that.

I am going to be writing a few more posts about how to empower yourself and your crafting and rewriting a few of the old posts.

Being an artist/ crafter/ artisan is usually “easy” in the sense that you feel some sort of natural inclination to it. But it can be weird. dramatic, scary, intimidating, or some such if you feel insecure or intimidated. So my posts aim not to give you step by steps on how to make awesome stuff, but rather, how to do what you’re already doing better, bolder and with more confidence.

Hopefully this series will be a kick in the butt for all of us as I assimilate back into business blogging. This year has been freaking nuts for me, but I’m settling in now. So, it’s time to focus and get back to work.

I’m excited! If there is anything you would like to see covered in this series, please let me know in the comments!

In the meantime, come visit me on my personal blog for a tour of the new Merriweather Council Headquarters!!

This is a for profit blog and includes a few affiliate links. This means that if you purchase something through one of these links, I may receive a small commission. I only bother suggesting products or services that I have used and loved because if you buy something on my suggestion and hate it that would suck. So I only suggest things i’m 99% sure you’ll love as much as I do.
